Will my insurance cover the cost of your services?
It depends. Check your policy; many private insurance plans cover naturopathic services. If you are unsure whether your plan covers these services, contact your insurance provider directly. You can tell them that Dr. Nomm is a registered naturopath and a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) and the Nova Scotia Association of Naturopathic Doctors (NSAND). She also has a Blue Cross provider number.
We bill clients directly. You are responsible for submitting your receipts to your insurance company for any reimbursement that you’re entitled to. MSI does not cover our services.
How can I pay?
We accept cash or cheques only; please, no debit or credit cards.
Do you practice acupuncture?
Yes, I use acupuncture for pain management, and have also had success using acupuncture for anti-smoking treatments and for weight loss treatments.
Do you practice homeopathy?
Yes. When it’s appropriate, I use homeopathic treatment as one of my treatment methodologies. If you wish to be treated homeopathically, it is helpful if you first fill out my homeopathic questionnaire, which you can request by email.
